Juan Capistrano is a California Mission town with a 200 year
history that is still here. The streets bear witness to events,
people and the evolution of both the town and the state. The
majority of buildings and sites identified on this map are
included on the City's Inventory of Historic & Cultural
Resources.
They
have been given special recognition for their historic and
architectural significance to the community of San Juan
Capistrano and in many cases have been recognized on a state and
national level as well.
